Responsibilities

In this exciting remote position, you will be primarily responsible for the design, development, and implementation of our state-of-the-art machine learning models. You will work within an international, agile team of experts and drive innovation in our data-driven products in the field of autonomous driving systems.

Your main tasks include:

• Development, training, and optimization of deep learning models using PyTorch.
• Analysis and preparation of large, complex datasets for model development.
• Implementation and deployment of ML models in a cloud environment (AWS).
• Close collaboration with Data Scientists, Software Developers, and Product Managers in a distributed team.
• Evaluation of the latest research results and their application to our products.
• Ensuring the scalability, performance, and reliability of the developed solutions.

Qualification Profile

• Completed degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Data Science, or a comparable field of study.
• Proven practical experience in developing machine learning models with PyTorch.
• Excellent programming skills in Python and related libraries (e.g., Pandas, NumPy).
• Excellent written and spoken English skills are essential for team communication. German language skills are a plus.
• Experience with cloud platforms, preferably AWS (e.g., SageMaker, S3, EC2).
• Willingness and ability to travel to Germany several times a year for important project and team coordination meetings.
